On the various trekking routes, voyagers will be able to purchase boiled water to drink. The water for the most part is drinkable but it is advised that you use water purification pills or drops to ensure that you do not drink contaminated water. Our company will be able to supply these pills/drops and they are readily available from pharmacies along the trekking routes.
You are able to purchase packaged mineral water along most of the trekking routes although this does make for a more expensive option. For environmental reasons, we encourage you to choose the other available options.
Due to the high altitude and physically demanding terrain on the treks, you will need to aim to drink between 3 to 4 litres a day.
