Mani Rimdu Festival Trek is a cultural and religious version of Everest View Trek. Mani Rimdu is the second biggest festival in the Khumbu region after Dumji. The latter is equivalent to what Dashain is for the Hindus. However, the Mani Rimdu always brings spirituality and colorful vibes to people dwelling within Khumbu. The festival lasts for three days in the Tengboche Monastery of the Khumbu region it’s the biggest monastery in the Everest region.

It is a high-altitude Himalayan Buddhist celebration. It is celebrated between October and November. The dates of 2020 Mani Rimdu are scheduled for Sat, Oct 31, 2020 – Tue, Nov 3, 2020. The Lama of the monastery announces the date of the occasion according to the Tibetan Lunar Calendar. The first day of the festival is the Wang Blessing Ceremony. Dances, music, and prayers are constantly around the monastery. The smell of the incense and the devotion of the people are truly remarkable scenes. In addition to these scenes, the foreigners enjoying the festival are too surprising. Therefore, every year hundreds of Everest Trekkers schedule their Everest View Trek on this date.

The second day is Cham Mask Dance and Jinsak is the third day as a closing procession. People from all parts of Khumbu come to The Tengboche Monastery. Day 01:Arrival at (TIA) in Kathmandu and transfer to the hotel (1,365m/4478.346ft) 20 Minutes Drive to Hotel .

As per we received your given flight schedule, our airport representative will be waiting in time at the (TIA) Tribhuvan international airport of Kathmandu for your arrival. And will drop you off at your Hotel in a private Vehicle and overnight in Kathmandu.

  • All the airport pick up and drop by private vehicle for your Arrivals and departures.
  • Four nights’ Accommodation in Kathmandu 2/3 star category hotel on twin sharing basis with Breakfast.
  • Kathmandu sightseeing tour with experienced tour Guide in a private vehicle including your entrance fees as per the given itinerary.
  • Experienced, helpful and friendly Trekking guide, and porter (There will be a 1 porter each between 2 of you to carry your luggage).
  • Domestic flight ticket: Kathmandu/Lukla/Kathmandu including airport tax.

  • Arrangement of emergency helicopter services which will be paid by your own travel insurance. We need a copy of your travel insurance before you leave trek. 
  • Farewell dinner will provide from the company’s side after finishing your trip.
  • All government taxes, Vat and service charges.

  • Nepal entry visa: you can get a visa easily upon your arrival at the Tribhuvan international airport in Kathmandu you need to bring 2 passport -size photos.
  • Personal expenses and meals Except for your trekking days.
  • Hot shower, Wi-Fi and Battery Charge during your Trek (it doesn't charge for small trekking/Hiking but they do charge for on the high mountain areas.
  • All the alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks and dessert.
  • Personal trekking equipment (Gears).
  • Tipping for guide and porters are expected.
