Including arrival, departure and a one-day city tour, our 15 days Everest Base Camp trek is a teahouse trek. We start with a scenic flight from Kathmandu to Lukla. From there to base camp and back to Lukla is entirely on foot so make sure you have high-quality trekking boots, and suitable trekking gear. This trek package includes time to acclimatize to the altitude, partly through making side trips in the Khumbu region and staying at consistent altitudes for a few days. The highest altitude on this trek is 5,545m at Kala Patthar.
Trekking to the base camp of Everest is possible throughout the year. But the best time to visit is at the beginning of March to Mid-May or at the beginning of September or Mid-November. The winter is cold and snow make difficult to Travel while most of the lodge may be closed because of altitude. While on summer most routes are wet and glorious mountain view will be hidden under clouds.

Bad weather or unsuitable weather conditions directly affect the flight schedule and can lead to flight delays of hours or days, depending on the severity of the storms. We recommend you add a few extra days to your travel plans to give yourselves enough time to enjoy your trek even with weather changes.
