Everest View Trek is an excellent way to experience the breathtaking beauty of Mt. Everest, the world’s highest mountain, along with spectacular high-altitude landscapes, blooming rhododendron forests, dramatic cliffs, magnificent glaciers, cascading waterfalls, and panoramic views of snow-capped Himalayan peaks.

Also known as the Everest Panorama Trek, this is one of the more accessible trekking routes in the Everest region. It is suitable for families, groups, and individual trekkers who want to experience the Himalayas without undertaking a long or highly demanding expedition. The trek takes you to the sacred Tengboche Monastery, one of the most important Buddhist monasteries in the Everest region, beautifully situated on a ridge with stunning views of Mt. Everest (8,848 m), Mt. Ama Dablam (6,812 m), and many other Himalayan peaks.

The Everest View Trek begins with a spectacular mountain flight from Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu to Lukla. From Lukla, the trail passes through picturesque Sherpa villages, including Phakding and Namche Bazaar, as well as several smaller settlements. After spending time in Namche Bazaar for acclimatization and exploration, the trail continues toward the scenic viewpoints of the Everest region, offering magnificent panoramas of the surrounding mountains. The journey also takes you to Tengboche Monastery, nestled on a beautiful ridge and surrounded by breathtaking Himalayan scenery.

Walking through lush alpine forests, especially during the rhododendron blooming season, adds another dimension to this unforgettable adventure. Day 01:Arrival in Kathmandu and transfer to the hotel(1,400 m) 20 minutes Drive to hotel.

Now that we have your flight schedule, our airport representative will be waiting for you at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) in Kathmandu. We will drop you off at your Hotel in a private vehicle, and you will stay overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 02:Kathmandu city sightseeing tour and further tour planning (1365 m).

After breakfast, we begin our sightseeing tour of Kathmandu, visiting four remarkable UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Our tour includes the historically and architecturally rich Kathmandu Durbar Square, the sacred Hindu temple of Pashupatinath, the fascinating “Monkey Temple” (Swayambhunath), and the magnificent Boudhanath Stupa, one of the largest stupas in the world.

We will also explore the local markets and experience the vibrant atmosphere of Kathmandu. After completing our sightseeing tour in the late afternoon, we return to the hotel for a brief meeting to prepare for the trek. This will be an opportunity to meet your trekking team and get acquainted with your guide and porters.

You will then have some free time to explore the lively streets of Thamel or purchase any last-minute trekking gear and essentials you may need. Overnight at your hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 03:Fly to lukla (35min) and trek to phakding (2,610 m) 4 hours walk.

The 35-minute flight from Kathmandu to Lukla is one of the most spectacular short flights in the world. Our trek begins in Lukla, the gateway to Everest. From Lukla, the trail gradually descends toward Cheplung Village, where we can enjoy spectacular views of Mount Khumbila, a sacred mountain that has never been climbed.

After a few hours of walking from Cheplung, we reach Phakding Village, which lies in the Dudh Koshi River Valley. Here, we spend the night.

Day 04:Trek from phakding to Namche bazar(3,440 m), 7 hours walk.

Today, our trek will start with a gentle, flat walk, crossing the suspension bridge of Phakding toward Banker Village. Along the way, you will enjoy amazing mountain views, including Mt. Thamserku (6,680 m).

We will cross several more bridges and reach the entrance point of Sagarmatha National Park at Monjo, where our trekking permits and TIMS cards will be checked and issued. From there, we will continue walking through Jorsale Village before reaching Namche Bazaar, where we will stop for our lunch break.

After lunch, we will continue for another three and a half hours, crossing the Hillary Bridge and climbing all the way up to Namche Bazaar. After about an hour and a half of climbing, we will take a rest and enjoy spectacular views of Mt. Everest and Mt. Lhotse.

We will then continue toward our destination, Namche Bazaar, which will take approximately another hour and a half to reach. In the evening, you can explore the town and spend the night at Namche Bazaar.

Day 05:Acclimatization hike to khumjumg village via everest view hotel (3,880 m) 4 hrs walk.

Namche Bazaar is one of the most beautiful and vibrant places in the Everest region, offering plenty of opportunities to explore and experience the unique Sherpa culture.

After breakfast, you can hike to Syangboche Airstrip, located on a hill above Namche Bazaar. From here, you can enjoy panoramic views of Namche and the surrounding Himalayan peaks.

A hike toward Sagarmatha National Park rewards trekkers with stunning sunrise views and spectacular vistas of Mount Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Ama Dablam, Thamserku, Kongde, and other majestic Himalayan peaks.

Back in Namche Bazaar, you can visit the Everest Photo Gallery, explore traditional Sherpa culture, and visit Khumjung Hillary School and the local museum. After a rewarding day of exploration and acclimatization, we spend the night in Namche Bazaar.

Day 06:Trek from Namche Bazaar to Tengboche (3,860 m) 6 hours walk.

We start today’s trek on a gentle, flat trail and descend toward Phunki Thanga, located at the bottom of the Dudh Koshi River valley, where we will stop for a lunch break.

From here, the trail climbs all the way up toward Tengboche, home to one of the largest monasteries in the region at a high elevation. The monastery is situated inside Sagarmatha National Park and offers breathtaking panoramic views of some of the highest mountains on Earth, including Mt. Everest, Mt. Lhotse, Mt. Ama Dablam, Mt. Thamserku, and many more.

We aim to reach the monastery by around 3:00 in the afternoon and may have the opportunity to witness a traditional Buddhist religious ceremony. Overnight stay will be at Tengboche.

Day 07:Trek back from Tengboche to Namche Bazaar (3,440 m) 6 hours walk.

In the wake of having a dawn perspective of the Himalayas in the morning, you will have a hot breakfast, then you will begin the trek, and the trekking from Tyangboche is for the most part downhill to the Phungitenga and a few stages to the Sanasa and practically flat to Namche Bazaar, overnight in Namche Bazaar.

Day 08: Trek from Namche Bazaar to Lukla (2,840 m) 7 hours walk.

After breakfast, we begin our trek toward Lukla, our final destination on the trail. The route mostly descends as we make our way through rocky terrain and cross the Hillary Suspension Bridge.

Today is our last day of trekking. The trail offers a beautiful walk through lush green vegetation and past traditional Sherpa settlements. As we continue toward Lukla, we can reflect on the incredible experiences and unforgettable memories we have made throughout the past few weeks.

Upon arriving in Lukla, we can relax, stretch our tired legs, and celebrate the completion of our Everest Base Camp adventure. We spend the night in Lukla.

Day 09:Morning flight back to Kathmandu (1,365 m) Domestic Airport 20 min Drive to hotel.

We will catch an early-morning flight from Lukla to Kathmandu, according to the flight schedule. After an unforgettable journey through the mountains, the scenic flight back to Kathmandu takes approximately 30–35 minutes.

Upon arrival in Kathmandu, we will drive back to the hotel and have some time to relax and refresh after the trek.

In the evening, our company will host a farewell dinner to celebrate the completion of your trekking adventure. During the dinner, we will share and reflect on the experiences and memorable moments from your journey. You will also enjoy a traditional Nepali cultural program and experience the warmth and hospitality of Nepal.

Overnight stay in Kathmandu.

Day 10:Final Departure from Kathmandu(1,365 m) 20 minutes drive to Airport.

As per your flight departure schedule, and as airlines require passengers to arrive at least 3 hours before departure, we will transfer you to Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) for your final departure.

A general medical first aid kit will be provided for common medical issues (Please consult your doctor if you have chronic diseases and obtain a prescription before traveling to Nepal).
Emergency helicopter services will be arranged and covered by your travel insurance. Clients should have travel insurance, including high-altitude sickness emergencies and helicopter evacuation services.
A farewell dinner in Kathmandu at a traditional Nepali cultural restaurant after finishing the Trek.
