The Langtang Gosaikunda Lauribina Pass Trek is an extended version of the popular Langtang Valley Trek. Short Itinerary
Day 01:Arrival in Kathmandu and transfer to the hotel (1,400m) 20 min Drive to hotel.
As we received your flight schedule, our airport representative will be waiting on time at the (TIA) Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) in Kathmandu for your arrival. We will drop you off at your Hotel in a private vehicle, and you will stay overnight in Kathmandu.
Day 02:Kathmandu city tour and further tour planning (1,400m).
After breakfast, we begin our sightseeing tour of Kathmandu, visiting four remarkable UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Our tour includes the historically and architecturally rich Kathmandu Durbar Square, the sacred Hindu temple of Pashupatinath, the fascinating “Monkey Temple” (Swayambhunath), and the magnificent Boudhanath Stupa, one of the largest stupas in the world.
We will also explore the local markets and experience the vibrant atmosphere of Kathmandu. After completing our sightseeing tour in the late afternoon, we return to the hotel for a brief trek preparation meeting. This will be an opportunity to meet your trekking team and get acquainted with your guide and porters.
You will then have some free time to explore the lively streets of Thamel or purchase any last-minute trekking gear and essentials you may need. Overnight at your hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 03:Drive from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi (1,500m) 7 hours Drive.
After an early breakfast at the hotel, we begin our journey at around 7:00 AM and drive north from Kathmandu toward Syabrubesi. The scenic drive takes us through picturesque foothills, winding roads, and beautiful ridgeline landscapes.
The first section of the journey, up to Trishuli Bazaar, is relatively smooth. From there, the road becomes more rugged as we continue along a rough, unpaved section toward Syabrubesi. Along the way, you can enjoy beautiful views of the surrounding hills, villages, and countryside.
Upon arrival in Syabrubesi, we check in at the hotel and have some time to relax and explore the surroundings.

Day 04:Trek from Syabrubeshi to Lama Hotel (2,480m) 6 hours walk.
After breakfast at the lodge, we begin our trek. This is the first day of trekking, and the trail is relatively easy and enjoyable.
The trail gradually ascends toward Landslide (1,810 m). From there, we continue trekking through beautiful forests, gradually ascending toward Rimche (2,400 m) via Bamboo (1,960 m). Along the way, you can enjoy the peaceful surroundings, lush vegetation, and scenic views of the Langtang region.
After Rimche, the trail becomes relatively level as we continue toward Lama Hotel. Upon arrival, we check in at the lodge and have time to relax and enjoy the peaceful mountain surroundings.

The trail gradually ascends toward Landslide (1,810 m). From there, we continue trekking through beautiful forests, gradually ascending toward Rimche (2,400 m) via Bamboo (1,960 m). Along the way, you can enjoy the peaceful surroundings, lush vegetation, and scenic views of the Langtang region.

Day 05:Trek from Lama Hotel to Langtang valley/Mundu (3,450m) 7 hours walk.
After breakfast at the lodge, we begin our trek through the beautiful forests of the Langtang region. Along the trail, there are occasional glimpses of Langtang Lirung between the trees, offering an exciting preview of the magnificent mountain scenery ahead.
We continue trekking toward Ghora Tabela (3,000 m), where the trail gradually emerges from the dense forest. While walking through this area, we may have the opportunity to spot white monkeys and various species of local birds.
Ghora Tabela was once the site of a Tibetan resettlement project. Today, the area is home to a Nepalese Army post, although it does not have permanent civilian residents.
From Ghora Tabela, the trail continues to ascend gradually as the valley becomes wider. Along the way, we pass several temporary settlements used by local herders who bring their livestock to graze in the high pastures during the summer months.
We continue our trek while enjoying the peaceful surroundings and spectacular mountain landscapes before reaching our lodge for the night.

Day 06:Trek from Langtang Village/Mundu to Kyangjin Gumpa (3,830m) 5 hours walk.
After breakfast at the lodge, we begin our trek toward Kyangjin. The trail gradually climbs through small villages and yak pastures as the valley opens up further and the mountain views become increasingly expansive.
Along the way, we cross several small streams and pass through glacial moraines while enjoying the spectacular scenery of the Langtang region. The trail continues gradually upward until we reach the beautiful settlement of Kyangjin.
Upon arrival, we check in at the lodge and have time to relax and explore the surrounding area.

Day 07:Acclimatization at Kyangjin Gompa climb Kyangjin ri /cherko ri (4,990m) 3-5 hours walk .
Today is a rest and exploration day in Kyangjin. After breakfast, we take the opportunity to explore the beautiful surrounding landscapes and experience the unique culture of the Langtang region.
We can visit the local monastery and traditional cheese factory, where we can learn more about the area's Buddhist heritage and local cheese production. Alternatively, we can take a scenic walk along the moraine to enjoy spectacular views of the impressive ice faces and glaciers of Langtang Lirung.
For those looking for a more adventurous experience, we can hike up Kyangjin Ri (4,350 m), located just behind the village. From the summit, we are rewarded with breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding Langtang peaks and valleys.
After enjoying the magnificent scenery, we return to Kyangjin and relax at the lodge.

Day 08:Trek from Kyangjin Gompa to Lama Hotel (2,480m) 7 Hours walk.
After breakfast at the lodge, we begin our trek back toward Lama Hotel. From Kyangjin, we retrace our trekking route, following the Langtang Khola through Langtang Village and onward to Ghora Tabela.
After lunch at Ghora Tabela, we continue our journey with a steep descent through the beautiful forested trail toward Lama Hotel. Along the way, we can enjoy the peaceful surroundings and scenic views of the Langtang Valley.
Upon reaching Lama Hotel, we check in at the lodge and have time to relax and enjoy the tranquil mountain atmosphere.

After lunch at Ghora Tabela, we continue our journey with a steep descent through the beautiful forested trail toward Lama Hotel. Along the way, we can enjoy the peaceful surroundings and scenic views of the Langtang Valley.
Upon reaching Lama Hotel, we check in at the lodge and have time to relax and enjoy the tranquil mountain atmosphere.

Day 09:Trek from Lama Hotel to Thulo Syabru Goun (2,200m) 6 hours walk.
After breakfast at the lodge, we begin our trek by descending toward Landslide. From here, the trail divides, with one route leading toward Syabru Gaun. We take the upper trail, which gradually ascends all the way to Syabru Gaun.
As we climb, we enjoy beautiful views of the surrounding mountains and landscapes. Upon reaching Syabru Gaun, we are rewarded with magnificent panoramic views of Langtang Lirung (7,245 m), the Tibetan Himalayan ranges, and many other spectacular Himalayan peaks.
We spend the evening relaxing and enjoying the peaceful atmosphere of this beautiful mountain village.

As we climb, we enjoy beautiful views of the surrounding mountains and landscapes. Upon reaching Syabru Gaun, we are rewarded with magnificent panoramic views of Langtang Lirung (7,245 m), the Tibetan Himalayan ranges, and many other spectacular Himalayan peaks.
We spend the evening relaxing and enjoying the peaceful atmosphere of this beautiful mountain village.

Day 10:Trek from Thulo Syabru to Sing Gompa ( 3,330m) 5 hours walk.
After breakfast at the lodge, we begin our trek toward Sing Gompa. Today, the trail from Thulo Syabru to Foprang Danda (3,200 m) follows a steep ascending path through Dursagang (2,660 m).
As we climb, we enjoy magnificent views of Langtang Himal, Ganesh Himal, the Tibetan mountain ranges, and the surrounding landscapes. The trail passes through beautiful forests of oak, hemlock, and fir trees, creating a peaceful and scenic trekking environment.
From Foprang Danda, the trail continues with a more gradual ascent for some distance before becoming relatively level as we approach Sing Gompa. This beautiful area offers panoramic mountain views and spectacular natural scenery.
Sing Gompa is also well known for its Yak cheese factory, where you can learn about the traditional production of locally made yak cheese.
After enjoying the beautiful surroundings and exploring the area, we settle into the lodge for the evening.

Day 11:Trek from Sing Gompa to Gosaikunda (4,400m) 7 hours walk.
After breakfast at the lodge, we begin our trek toward Gosaikunda. The first section of the trail ascends gradually toward Lauribinayak. From the top of Lauribinayak, we are rewarded with spectacular panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and landscapes.
From Lauribinayak, the trail becomes steeper as we continue toward Gosaikunda. We follow a rugged trail with dramatic mountain scenery along the way. To the west, we can enjoy views of Himalchuli (7,893 m), Manaslu (8,156 m), the Ganesh Himal range (7,406 m), the Tibetan peaks, and Langtang Lirung. On a clear morning, the Annapurna range may also be visible in the distance. To the north, the magnificent Langtang Lirung rises above the valley.
As we continue, we pass a few small huts in the high pastures of Lauribinayak before crossing a small ridge, from where we get our first views of the sacred lakes of Gosaikunda.

Day 12:Trek from Gosaikunda to Ghopte ( 3,530m) 8 hours walk.
After breakfast, we begin our trek from Gosaikunda. The trail leaves the sacred lake and climbs through rugged and scenic terrain, passing by four more small alpine lakes before reaching the Lauribina La Pass (4,600 m), the highest point of the trek.
From the pass, we can enjoy spectacular panoramic views of the surrounding Himalayan peaks. Along the way, we can look back toward the magnificent Manaslu and Ganesh Himal ranges, as well as the now-familiar Langtang Lirung.
After crossing the Lauribina La Pass, the trail descends steeply through the rugged mountain landscape toward Ghopte. Upon arrival, we check in at a local guesthouse and have time to rest and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.

From the pass, we can enjoy spectacular panoramic views of the surrounding Himalayan peaks. Along the way, we can look back toward the magnificent Manaslu and Ganesh Himal ranges, as well as the now-familiar Langtang Lirung.
After crossing the Lauribina La Pass, the trail descends steeply through the rugged mountain landscape toward Ghopte. Upon arrival, we check in at a local guesthouse and have time to rest and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.

Day 13:Trek from Ghopte to Kutumsang ( 2,4 70m) 7 hours walk.
After breakfast, we begin our trek and join the Helambu trekking route. The trail passes through beautiful alpine forests and offers a peaceful and scenic walking experience.
After approximately one and a half hours of trekking, we reach Magin Goth, where we can stop for lunch and enjoy magnificent views of the snow-capped peaks of the Jugal Himalayan range to the east and the Ganesh and Manaslu ranges to the west.
After lunch, we continue our journey along a descending trail for several hours toward Kutumsang. Along the way, we enjoy the lush forests, beautiful landscapes, and peaceful mountain surroundings.
Upon reaching Kutumsang, we check in at a local guesthouse and relax for the evening.

After approximately one and a half hours of trekking, we reach Magin Goth, where we can stop for lunch and enjoy magnificent views of the snow-capped peaks of the Jugal Himalayan range to the east and the Ganesh and Manaslu ranges to the west.
After lunch, we continue our journey along a descending trail for several hours toward Kutumsang. Along the way, we enjoy the lush forests, beautiful landscapes, and peaceful mountain surroundings.
Upon reaching Kutumsang, we check in at a local guesthouse and relax for the evening.

Day 14: Trek from Kutumsang to Chisapani (2,215m) 7 hours walk.
After breakfast, we begin our trek with a pleasant morning walk through several rural farming villages. The trail passes through the charming village of Gul Bhanjyang before continuing toward Pati Bhanjyang.
After approximately 3–4 hours of trekking, we reach the final section of the trail, which involves a short uphill climb toward Chisopani Danda. Upon arrival, we check in at a local guesthouse and have time to relax while enjoying the peaceful surroundings and beautiful mountain scenery.

Day 15:Trek Descend to Sundarijal and drive back to Kathmandu( 1,400m).
After breakfast, we begin the final day of this beautiful journey through some of the most scenic landscapes in Nepal.
In the morning, we walk through serene forests and farmlands before reaching the ridgeline of Burlang and Chepu Bhanjyang (2,438 m). From here, we can enjoy magnificent views of the Kathmandu Valley.
The trail then descends toward Sundarijal, meaning "beautiful water," passing through cool forests, where we may encounter monkeys and refreshing mountain streams. Sundarijal is a popular picnic destination for people from Kathmandu who come here to enjoy nature and escape the hustle and bustle of metropolitan life.
After approximately another hour of descending from Sundarijal, we reach the roadhead and drive back to Kathmandu. Upon arrival, we check in at the hotel and have time to relax after completing our memorable journey.

Day 16:Final Departure from Kathmandu 20 minutes Drive drop off TIA Airport.
As per your flight departure schedule, the airline requires us to be there at least 3 hours before your departure time. Therefore, we will transfer our guest to Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) for the final departure.
