Nagarkot Hiking is the best alternative escape from the urban hectic hustle of Kathmandu and to witness the magnificent panorama it offers in the meantime. You will be mind-boggled to witness how the nearby towns along the trail have stayed unaltered and still carry their ancestral style of living despite the fact that they are in very close proximity to the city.

As the hike rolls off we drive to Nagarkot through the green fields and move through terraced fields. The groovy scenic drive is an enthralling drive with the all-encompassing panorama of the green Kathmandu Valley summoned by the majesty of the enchanting Himalayas. The charismatic hill station of Nagarkot is a well-known travelers’ destination to catch the glimpse of colossal Himalayan Vistas getting wrapped by the first rays of the sun like a sheet of a golden blanket covering it and it is where our hike actually initiates. The trail from Nagarkot descends bit by bit via the captivating terraced rice fields through the Tamang Village where the rural houses built with neighborhood stone hands–slashed by nearby experts are a sight worth every penny.

The initial segment of the Nagarkot hiking tour is an interesting social experience as you can witness the traditional way of life of the native people. The trail to the holy Changunarayan Temple is an easy stroll keeping your energy level to the max so that you can enjoy the whole hike with the same enthusiasm. It will take around 4 hours to achieve Changunarayan, the most seasoned pagoda-style Hindu sanctuary in Nepal enlisted in the World Heritage Site by UNESCO. After witnessing the outstanding craftsmanship of the native people at Changunarayan, we head to Kathmandu as we catch our bus from Chnagunaryan concluding our pleasant experience of Nagarkot Nature Trail.

Join the marvelous Nagarkot Hiking to witness the unadulterated charisma of the world’s most picturesque views of Nagarkot and to have a feel of being in the shoes of the native people to observe their rural way of living.
